My Artscow Referral Credits

Before I dug some phentermine reviews on the web this morning, I decided to check my Artscow account and see how many referral credits I already have earned. These credits can be redeemed in exchange for numerous FREE Artscow items like photo prints, handbag hangers, key chains, wall clocks, mugs, photo books, cufflinks, tote bags, door mats and many more. The shipping fee is all I have to shoulder. All items can be personalized so you can have your favorite pictures printed on them. So how many credits do I have?

Special thanks to GirlTalk moms and the readers of my mommy blog where I posted my supplier ratings for the little one’s 1st birthday party last year. That’s where I posted the customized guest sheets and photo invites that were printed through Artscow. Their affordable photo printing services are really alluring..imagine, their rates are only $0.06/each (less than Php 3) for 4×6 print and $0.12/each (less than Php 7) for 5×7 print. They do ship internationally via USPS and can be paid via credit card or paypal.

I haven’t finalized which freebie items I’ll get using my credits but I’m leaning on getting a customized wall clock and a handbag hanger for now.

It’s just only now (11:58 PM) that I got to log in to the world wide web as I was out the whole day. And yep, I missed my daily online routine but no regrets because I finally got a breather from the hustle and bustle of my day-to-day busy online life. Actually, my body’s sore and overly tired from an exciting excursion to here:

Dear Nikky.

He has been MIA for the last 5 weeks or even more. I can’t exactly recall when we last had a nice quality time together. I can’t even remember what the occasion was. We may have stumbled upon each other but it has always been just a mere hi and hello.

Even the husband has barely gotten in touch with him these past few days. I hope he isn’t feeling bad that it may seem we’re ignoring him. He might think that his newly acquired “cousin”, Sonya, is clamoring all our attention. But no, we even haven’t bonded with her still. Or he may be harboring grudges since I’ve been using Nokie more often for my son’s random “bibo” moments.

Don’t worry Nikky. There are several upcoming occasions in the weeks to come where you can join us. Especially that the Holidays are nearing, just relax and take a lot of rest as for sure, you’ll be very exhausted by then.

And oh, I have a good news. You’ll have a new accessory to bond with by December. How does a Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED AF-S DX VR Zoom lens sounds?

Of Braces and Goofy Looks.

Browsing through old photos of your younger years can really be therapeutic. I have just unearthed a few High School memorabilia of me and hubby and it’s just amusing to see how innocent looking we were then on pictures. (Hubby and I were High School classmates, by the way). Hubby almost gave me a slight whack on the head because I kept on chuckling over his so “childlike” looks – skinny, dark and sporting a crew cut hair as a requirement for our Citizen’s Army Training (CAT) curriculum. He laughed at my photos in return – petite, scrawny, and goofy looking because of my braces.

Oh those braces…it really brings back a lot of memories. I used to wear braces for quite a period of time to correct the spacing of my overlapping teeth. Back then, for some reason, wearing braces and retainers was a cool thing among teenagers. It was more of like a status symbol and just like when pagers and cellphones were introduced, braces became an instant fad. As for me who was forced to wear because of a genetic teeth malformation (my 2 siblings also wore braces), I didn’t find it cool. It was a torture especially when my orthodontist attached the brackets for the first time and every time she adjusts them on a monthly basis. She gave me the freedom to choose whatever rubber color she’d put on the brackets so as the season and holiday changes, so does the color of my braces, too. Every December, I had it in green and red, alternate. For the Halloween, it was in black and orange. Just a lighter way of exhausting out the pain. I had a huge relief when my teeth aligned very well and she finally removed my braces. I also wore retainers briefly then had a permanent retention behind my lower teeth. Too bad, my orthodontist migrated already abroad. I’m not sure where in the US she’s based now but I’m sure she’s doing great..at par even with the best San Diego orthodontics in Cali. The Irresistible Smiles orthodontist are all great at providing orthodontic services. They also perform various dental procedures, surgeries and implant services.

Anyway, back to the pictures, it’s also amazing to realize how we transformed over the years. We’ll surely keep these and treasure very well so that my 19 month old son will have something to chuckle over too in the future.

Meanwhile, if you’d like to see my goofy photo…hmmm, I’ll think it over first if I’ll post it online.
