Boredom Busters in Long Queues and Lines.

Last Friday, I practically ~~spent~~ wasted a total of 3 1/2 hours of my day waiting for my turn. One hour in a government office and two and a half hour at my previous employer to get my back pay.

If you are like me who easily gets bored and driven crazy by such long queues and lines, here are some Boredom Busters that can help you contain your sanity:

1. Let your cell phones keep you busy. Endlessly text anyone, play mobile games, organize your folders and files, delete inactive phone book entries and the wisest invention of all, web mobile browsing!
2. Converse with the one next to you in the line. Start a conversation by asking, without being too nosy, what’s his purpose or transaction or rant together how slow the customer service agent is.
3. Although not advisable to those who are diet conscious, eating can definitely ease boredom.
4. If you have company and ran out of topics to talk about, play rock-paper-scissors. LOL.
5. Read a book.
6. Tune in to your iPods and mp3 players.
7. Play PSP.

Math Wizards.

Are you a math wizard, or perhaps a math person? Unlike my hubby and my dad, I admittedly, am not. It’s not that I hate Math, ~~it’s the other way around~~…some parts of it lang and let’s say na it’s not just my forte. Back in school, I got fair grades on my algebra and geometry..but trigonometry? a big NO! hehe! Thanks to Trigo for making me graduate from HS with a sole line of 7 on the report card. :big grin:

Anyway, I got these photos from an email and look at how these kids infused humor in solving such Math problems:
