My son is 2 1/2 years old now. Just a few months to go, he may already be eligible to enter pre-school. Time flies so fast so as early as now, we’ve started saving up for his education and further, I am currently making my research about pre-school education so we can draw up plans of how we’d all go about it. We’re clueless yet as to which type of curriculum we’d pursue but one thing is for sure. We want the most nurturing environment for our son.

Hubby and I went to a traditional pre-school where our foundation was remarkable and the setup worked for us. But these days, more and more have been advocating about how the Home school curriculum proves to be equally effective (in some instances, more advantageous) for many kids and families. Many parents who home school their pre-schoolers attest that this setup is now easier because of vast resources that are made available for them online. In fact, there’s one particular software that can aid a Home Schooling parent teach his child various subjects in a specialized Montessori method. MECS Montessori Educational Software is a leading provider of home school curriculum, Phonics software and other educational tools designed to help children even those with special needs succeed like the Dyslexia software for those with reading disabilities.

There’s actually a myriad of choices but as we still have ample time to research further about the different pre-school approaches, I hope we’ll be able to come up with the right curriculum decision that would work for us and our son.

Renting has been one of the most effective ways of enjoying a certain commodity without so-called breaking the bank and having to worry about permanent possession of a certain thing. Even the less significant whatnots like movies and formal apparels can be rented for a reasonable fee nowadays.

I was actually looking for a particular title of my favorite author, Nicholas Sparks, when I stumbled upon Booksfree.com a while ago. It’s only now that I learned that we can also Rent books online like paperbacks, children’s books and even Audio books on cd. For just a low monthly fee, members of these Book rental sites can enjoy a library style program on the web which allows one to rent as many books as he can read. Handling and shipping charges are usually free. Unlike in libraries, these rental sites do not impose due dates or late return fees thus, a member can read as fast or as slow as he wants to. This type of service is perfect for those who enjoys reading books but abhors spending much and ending up not enjoying the book. To know more about how this type of service works, I suggest you take a look at Booksfree.com and browse their endless online catalogs of books.

New teachers, new classmates, new uniforms, new stuffs. The last two were the most that I was excited about and I bet most of the students share the same sentiments with me. Definitely, I was also thrilled about the new learning that would be imparted to me.

Speaking of education, I just stumbled upon a great website that incoming American college students will surely appreciate and find very helpful. The undecided students will most benefit from CollegeDegreesToday.com as they will be able to read a comprehensive guide in there about finding the perfect accredited college or university within their proximity in any of the American states. Browsing the site and the task to research college degrees are easy because the search categories allow one to peruse according to degree level, degree program, online school, campus based school, or vocational program. Do check it out if you are caught in this dilemma.

With the neverending advancement of technology, I could say that the students of today are indeed luckier as they benefit so much from the computer and internet for their school works. During my time (not so long ago), I recall that my classmates and I spent several hours of research from dusty and old book in our library after class hours. The internet wasn’t that widely used yet among students and renting in internet shops was very costly. The first time I ever logged on the web, rental fee was at Php 54 per hour. With this, we were lured to go for means that were inexpensive or as much as possible, free.

In this decade when internet is considered a staple and a regular utility in the house (just like phone, power, water and cable TV), researching for school assignments, projects and term papers are definitely a lot easier and efficient. With just one click, you have an instant project with the help of Google.

For those who are deprived of time (and ideas), there are also writing services that can be availed online. One is able to buy essays that are readily available or request a essay service for a customized topic. These means bundled with research gadgets such as kindles, internet on-the-go tools like iPhones and iPad where one can access the internet any time, researching school works couldn’t indeed be easier.

My biggest congratulations to my brother who’s finally receiving his diploma on the 25th. Our parents have already sent out graduation announcements for the blowout party he’ll be having right after his graduation. They couldn’t be happier and proud of their son’s achievement..and of course, their achievement, too, because they painstakingly worked hard just to send him (and us, the three elder siblings) to the best schools. Kudos to my parents and of course, to our youngest sibling.

This thai massage video I just watched awakened my yearning to have a massage. It’s been ages since I had one and I am longing that pampering and relaxing feeling as the therapist works on the body muscles. I think what I had was just an ordinary massage..slightly different from a Thai Massage. According to this thai massage training resource, this type of massage is more energizing than more classic forms of massage because it involves more rigorous stretching and deep massage. It is usually performed on the floor, no oil is used so the client can just wear any comfortable clothing that allow for movement. If you are curious on how it is correctly done or should you want to learn it yourself, get familiarized with the muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure techniques presented in Videoshelf.com, the reliable resource of aesthetic educational videos for spa and beauty professionals. They also have videos on hairstyling and cutting, face painting, make up, body treatments and a lot more. So if you are thinking of putting up your own salon or spa, these videos are a must-collections.

I’d really like to try a thai massage but I’ll do that once I secure a clearance from the doctor since I have a dextroscoliosis.

I was a little above the average but wasn’t consistent enough to land in the quarterly or semestral honor lists. And simply, it’s because of the Math subjects which were my waterloo. I even considered looking for an Online math tutoring site but unfortunately, there wasn’t any during my time. Students of today are really lucky that they can seek Free online math help from TutorVista. Whether it be algebra, calculus, precalculus, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, linear programming, or discrete mathematics, an Online math tutor is just a click away and can readily assist a student in solving a Math problem for a homework or a test review. This is also a very cost effective way of seeking Math help since a student doesn’t have to travel just to have a one-on-one interactive tutorial. The tutors interact with their students using a VoIP facility plus an interactive whiteboard to work problems, simulations, assessments and other tasks. So get help for your Grades 3-12 kids by turning to TutorVista for Math help.

When I entered college, I had this goal to graduate with an Accounting major degree and consequently become a Certified Public Accountant later on. The first one and a half years of my pre-commerce years were directed on that path until I decided that accounting seemed not for me. So instead, I spent my majoring years taking up Business Administration, upon my Dad’s encouragement and influence, too. I perfectly love what my career with such background (degree) has become. However, there sometimes comes a point when I wonder “what if” I pursued my first plan. Perhaps I could be working in the top accounting firms abroad by now or maybe in a Las Vegas accounting firm which most of my CPA friends are yearning to work for. I’ve heard about KondlerCPA a lot not only as one of the high-notch accounting firms in Nevada but a very welcoming enterprise to work for. They provide exceptional accounting and financial business solutions and their expertise are concentrated on various industries like petroleum distribution, auto dealerships, developers, contractors and a whole lot more. At any rate, it’s not actually a dead end yet for me because I can still make my initial plans work in a few years time and pursue an accounting major degree.

It’s just not one of my priorities now but returning to school to acquire a masteral degree has always been a long time dream and a long term goal. When things get settled in a year or two with my motherhood duties, hopefully, I can enroll myself and pursue a Business or Finance related masteral course. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce major in Business Administration and since I have immense interest in the internet and computers, I’m looking at financial engineering as a possible option. A masteral course in Business Administration may also be a good choice but I’m thinking of going back to the corporate world and land into a quant job in the banking and finance operations like I used to.

Financial engineering or computational finance course may sound new or uncommon but actually, workers in this field have been around in the workforce for years now. It’s just that this cross-disciplinary field was made more detailed and focused on computational intelligence, mathematical finance, numerical methods and computer simulations as technology (sotware and computer) also advances. If I got you intrigued and interested in this field, you can check out more information at riskey.cn. It is an informative resource about everything that is related in this field like news, job vacancies worldwide, tips, faqs and even the newest financial engineering book published. It’s all in here.
