Dear Nikky.

He has been MIA for the last 5 weeks or even more. I can’t exactly recall when we last had a nice quality time together. I can’t even remember what the occasion was. We may have stumbled upon each other but it has always been just a mere hi and hello.

Even the husband has barely gotten in touch with him these past few days. I hope he isn’t feeling bad that it may seem we’re ignoring him. He might think that his newly acquired “cousin”, Sonya, is clamoring all our attention. But no, we even haven’t bonded with her still. Or he may be harboring grudges since I’ve been using Nokie more often for my son’s random “bibo” moments.

Don’t worry Nikky. There are several upcoming occasions in the weeks to come where you can join us. Especially that the Holidays are nearing, just relax and take a lot of rest as for sure, you’ll be very exhausted by then.

And oh, I have a good news. You’ll have a new accessory to bond with by December. How does a Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED AF-S DX VR Zoom lens sounds?

No Distractions!

As of 11 AM this morning, I can’t believe that I have accomplished that much already: published a number of posts, reviewed and managed my online cash register and twitted on the side. Well, that’s because my Facebook window is closed..so no FB games demanding my attention.

I’ll sneak in a few minutes later to check on my aquarium at World Fish and farms at Barn Buddy and Farm Town, but I promise that I won’t stay long. I am allotting my whole afternoon on setting up my two new blogs and I’m looking forward to accomplish much more at the end of today.

So there, no distractions first please.

Online work today was a little bit lax that’s why I spent most of my time at Facebook playing my favorite games. I was also able to import my bloglines feeds to google reader. I’ve been using bloglines for quite some time now but I decided to switch feed reading platform because of great raves from my Google Reader-user friends. Further, I’ve been getting kinks with fetching feeds by bloglines and so I made leap today and is still trying to get accustomed with the changes. So far, so good.

While I was reading my GReader today, I suddenly realized that it’s saddening to see how most of my subscribed blogs in the feed have turned to so called “business” blogs (including my blogs). I miss those days when I bloghop and get to read real and quality personal updates..and not just tags and memes sprawled everywhere.

…just my two cents.
