If I had enough money now to spend on leisure, I’d definitely escape this rainy season and take my boys to somewhere more exciting. New 7-Star Dubai Hotel.

While helping out my friend who is in search of HUD apartments for rent in the US, I was led to this article about a new hotel Dubai. We all know how Dubai is the haven of the best luxury hotels in the world including the infamous skyscraper Burj Al Arab in Jumeirah which is a 7-star hotel as claimed. Now, it is said that a new three hundred million dollar hotel (also a 7-star hotel) will rise up 300 m off the Dubai coast housing more than four hundred luxury suites. What’s even more interesting is that it will just be accessible by boat or helicopter. Truly exclusive, huh? I’ve seen a perspective of the hotel posted at yousaytoo.com and I must say that it truly is interesting and magnificent.

It’s my first time to browse yousaytoo.com and I’m impressed how it’s so informative with all of the fascinating blog articles that are submitted. It makes reading, browsing and learning a lot easier because it’s a one-stop resource already. It’s as if you’re bloghopping but on the same page. I’ve read that it’s also a revenue sharing site. I wonder how does that work. I’m into blog monetizing and I think this is worth a try.

Beach Resort Negril: My Ideal Caribbean Vacation

We already had our grand beach getaway earlier this month in a local beach resort down south but I’m still yearning for another one. The summer heat’s too much to bear and I wouldn’t mind staying in the pool or be submerged in the waters whole day long. We’ll be quite busy on May as we’ll be moving to our new house but I hope we’ll be able to squeeze amidst our busy schedules a few days of R&R within that month. It’s impossible to have an inclusive Jamaica adventure but I’ll keep that destination in mind. Who knows, if not soon, we might have a vacation in a Caribbean island in the near future. I’ve just browsed my favorite travel booking site and I have already in mind which beach resort Negril will have to be our choice. I have my ideal vacation in mind and it’s in that resort that I’m picturing the following: soothing sea breeze, pristine white sand caressing my toes and a bright sun to warm me up. There’s no other perfect place where all those can be experienced than in Negril Jamaica. The place is equally beautiful as Cancun, Acapulco and other Mexican resorts but this Jamaican town is less crowded so I’d definitely be able to commune with nature in solace. The hotels and resorts in Negril are likewise all inviting and cozy. Aside from the sea, sun and sand, my ideal beach getaway involves my husband and my son as any vacation is made more exciting when enjoyed with the family.

I guess everyone will concur with me when I say that nothing beats the beach as the ultimate summer destination. It’s no wonder why tropical destinations like the Caribbean islands attract so much tourists from around the world during the summer season. In particular, caribbean hotels and resorts in Jamaica are among the top favorites because of the magnificent and breathtaking views of all the beaches as well as the thrilling water adventures that await every visitor. Travelers on a budget may book the invidually-owned apartments or the mid-range hotels that line up the frontbeach. But of course, the much pampering all inclusive hotels are usually what the tourists are after for every Caribbean beach adventure. So aside from Mexico, Jamaica is one of the countries I’m dying to visit in the Caribbean region. The town of Ocho Rios in the north coast of Jamaica has a rich culture, amiable people and attractive destinations. Divinely favored Ocho Rios hotels, the Breezes Resorts to be exact, are very inviting also to travelers who want nothing but sheer relaxation. There never is a dull moment when having a Jamaican holiday because of the engaging activities that a tourist can enjoy aside from sightseeing like water sports, scuba diving, dolphin watching, bar, restaurant and night club hopping and many more. As it is an all inclusive getaway, everything that a tourist years in a vacation are offered impeccably. I deeply wondered the first time I heard about Las vegas being known as the Sin City. I was clueless why it was given such a monicker when in fact, it’s a marvelous, progressive and peaceful city. I just came to know the answer and realized it myself when when I saw the number of mega casinos sprawling the city in every hotels and the like. But still, many tourists indulge in this city even though it is known as such and in fact, the casinos are one of the major attractions that they visit. So when one says that he’s bound to Las Vegas, it’s automatic and it follows that he has to try gambling and play even just the simple and easy games of slot machines especially if he’s a first timer.

If I were to set foot in the US, Las Vegas would be one of my top destinations. I could probably get myself try those casino games that I’ve been reading about at caesars online. I don’t have plans of getting engrossed because I might just end up losing all my wagers or bets and go home empty-handed. You see, I absolutely do not have the skills. I’ll play a bit just for the sake of trying it. So instead of gambling, I would probably just immerse myself into enjoying and luxuriating in the hip and posh Las Vegas hotels, apart from the numerous activities of sightseeing, dining and shopping that every guest will surely enjoy. Las Vegas remains one of the top visited cities in the US and the very proof is the high influx of tourists especially on weekends.

Can’t Wait.

On Monday, this is where the whole family (my side) will be:

Magnificent infinity pool, majestic sea views, cozy and homey villas….simply breathtaking. I can’t wait to dip all day long in the pool or in the cool sea waters, play with Little A and my niece in the sand, pig out with my folks and siblings in the resto and just relax for two days. I’ve been so stressed with work lately so there’s no better way to unwind other than having a beach family getaway in one of the most captivating places in Laiya.

One of my ultimate dreams is to own a vacation haven by the beach where we can instantly troop to when we want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life at any time. The images of the tasteful beachfront villas that I saw in a Puerto Vallarta real estate website are the exact representation of my ideal beach rest house: splendid ocean views from the balcony, modern with a bit of rustic touch, a spacious patio. Now if only it would be built in the likes of Riviera Nayarit where Villa La Estancia is, that would be awesome.

Lenten Plans.

On the news are thousands of people flocking in the city’s airport, bus terminals and port area. The expressways leading to the suburbs and provinces are likewise being slowly filled up with cars and autos all having their Lenten vacation away from the city. Some people observe the traditional Lenten ways like do the Visita Iglesia, Senakulo, Pasyon in the provinces. The long holiday break also serves a vacation for some and as it is summer already, the beach is the most popular destination to escape the tormenting heat.

As for us, we won’t be visiting my FIL’s ancestral home in Bulacan on Good Friday as we normally do. We won’t be seeing flagellants doing their sacrifices this year. We’ll just be confined here at home, do our lenten sacrifice (for me it’ll be internet fasting so I’ll be offline starting tomorrow) and do a much needed reflection.

We’re up for a fun-filled Easter Monday though as the whole family (my side) will be trooping to a nearby beach for some bonding time and much sought r&r. We initially planned an out of the country trip as my sister found tempting Disney vacation deals (she saw a vacation rental nightly rate of just $30 from VacationRentals.com) however, we can not have our schedules meet for a longer vacation. We’ll see if we can push through with that on December.

Summer Heat Causes Acne Breakouts.

As the summer season nears and we get ready our bodies and skin to be sun-kissed, we must also remember that this is the season that we’re prone to having acne breakouts. This is brought about by a combination of the sudden change in temperature and extended exposure of the skin to the sun. I have just read from a beauty blog that an oil-free sunscreen and a non-drying acne wash (or just even water) are the necessary tools to combat acne breakout possibility. But as skins react differently and as there are people whose skin are more sensitive than the others, a proactiv solution must be kept always ready for sudden cases of acne breakouts. Prevention is better than cure. Besides, you don’t want to go to summer parties with a poke-dotted red face, do you?

The Sexy Season.

With summer just around the corner, I’m very certain that aside from swimwear and other swimming gears, the best diet supplement is also among the top finds by many. Next to gym membership sign ups and other fitness equipment. This is in attempt to eradicate those flabs and tone their muscles especially in the tummy area. For the men, this is the perfect time to show off their 6 pack abs and for the women, just a flat (free from any bulge) tummy will do. So with such, it can be declared that summer is also known as the sexy season.

As for me, I’m happy to say that I don’t have bulges to hide. But just like many, I don’t have the guts to wear those sexy 2-piece bikinis. Not unless, people in the beach can appreciate ugly pregnancy marks. LOL.
