We spent our Sunday afternoon just plain lazing around as opposed to our original plan that we’d go malling. After we got tired of playing with the little one in the garden, the husband popped in the DVD of the 2006 movie The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift into the player, brought out the popcorn and there..it was an instant movie date.

I’ve already watched this movie a couple of times before so even though I know the plot and the story line already, I still enjoyed watching it again because of the interesting and seemingly-robot-type-flying cars. Wow, they surely can drift. I wonder what type of engines and accelerators those cars have. The lambo doors and custom headlights cap off the package complete. Fall has officially started in the US and with all the Fall Sales going on in online shops and with Christmas jingles occasionally played on radio and morning news programs here in our country, I could say that my most favorite season is fast approaching. This also reminded me that I better start jotting down ideas for my Christmas Gift List.

Gifts for my son are easier to plan for so I think, I have to start with the husband first. One of my options this year is to go for nissan accessories. We have a Nissan Sentra, which we fondly call Green Machine (because it’s color green), that has been with us for almost a decade now. It’s definitely outdated but the husband maintains it well. To say that he loves Green Machine is an understatement. Despite my several attempts in persuading him to sell and upgrade to a new model, he resists. He says it’s his first car and there’s no way he’s gonna dispatch it just yet.

Anyway, I stumbled upon Carid.com last night and I’m thinking of gifting him a new wood dash kit. I overheard him the other day that he’s wishing to refurbish the interiors of the car. I accidentally browsed the dodge accessories gallery and that’s where I got the idea of having a new Car Navigation System as one of my options, too. I also saw new and unique designs of pedals from the ford accessories site but I have to check if they have available models for a Nissan though. Hmm, thanks to Carid for giving me options. Cooking Up a Bachelorette Party.

Aside from Christmas, one reason that I’m excited about the coming year end Holidays is the upcoming wedding of a very dear friend, P. The Maid of Honor, C, who’s also a close friend of ours, has sought or should I say, made me promise that I help her out in organizing P’s bridal shower two weeks before the wedding. C sounded so desperate that I had no choice but to say yes. It’s not that I’m expert in that field but given that I’m the only one in our circle of friends, so far, who’s married, there’s no one to help her. And since I got myself into it, I have started scouring the web for ideas on how to stage a semi-wild-but-wholesome-still bachelorette party. I now have a few ideas like on the theme, invitations to hand out, food and other party effects.
