As I posted yesterday a picture of our shoe closet in my other blog, it just dawned on me that I’m more of a shoe person than an apparel and accessories freak. I’ve got a number of footwear pairs while I just have a couple of bags that I interchange when I go out. I’m just an occasional shoe shopper but sometimes I have this tendency to get two (or more) pairs in just one shopping. Do take note, however, that they have to be Cheap Shoes. However, I occasionally shop online, too, as shopping on the web can be easier in such a way that I can browse and peruse tons of designs in just a click of the mouse. Today’s the most awaited day of the shopaholics and fashionistas as the US popular clothing brand Forever 21 finally opens its first store in Manila. It’s located in the 2nd level of SM Megamall (right next to Watsons). In anticipation of the crowd’s excitement, the mall opened today as early as 9:30 am. Forever 21 has been a top fave because of its affordable rates yet the their clothing line is among the trendiest and fashionable. According to bloggers who were invited to the private shopping party event held the other night, it surely is a shopping haven 1.) vast selling area (2,200 square meters) 2.) 34 fitting rooms (whoa! that’s a lot!) 3.) close to a hundred staff 4.) tons of tempting and eye candy fashion pieces 5.) very affordable rates (from Php 130 up and nothing above Php 2500).

The store carries Forever 21 sub brands: Heritage, Twelve by Twelve, Love 21, and 21 Men. I bet other sub brands will also follow.

Aspiring To Be A Model

Many young girls or teeners dream to become a model some day. Why wouldn’t they want to become one if the perks of being a model are truly outrageous: traveling to beautiful places, making lots of money and meeting some of the most beautiful, interesting and creative people in the world. Further, they’re drawn by the perfect features and superficial things they see on their idols: pretty face, sexy body, clear and flawless skin. But actually, it takes more than that to become a successful model. Character is one important factor. Beauty starts from within. And as a statement I’ve recently come across with says: What you put inside your body is just as important as what you put on it.

If you are determined and if you think you got what it takes to be a model, then go ahead and aim high. It is not an easy road going to the top but at least the adventure is enjoying and rewarding. It doesn’t deal with any asbestos mesothelioma so health wise, it’s really safe. Just be careful though to seek assistance from qualified professional trainers and nutritionists if you have problems keeping the weight off. You don’t want to lose weight the wrong way, do you?

Waistline Figure: A Dreaded Topic

This blog post may be a bit sensitive for some. Not because it’s some sort of adult thing or a topic that has to do with politics but it has to do with waistlines. A lot of people take this topic very seriously and often, they keep the figure as a top secret. It’s one subject matter that they try to totally avoid and would not discuss out in the open especially among ladies.

For men, they’re taking this matter more easily and lightly as compared to ladies. Well, probably because it’s just natural that men’s body structure are fuller bosomed. I’m pertaining to big-bellied or should I say beer-bellied men in particular. However, there are those who are also conscious of their front baggage that’s why aside from firming their shoulders and biceps, the 6-pack abs is what they desire. Remember Jacob Black’s abs in Twilight: New Moon? Not only the ladies drooled over those attractive muscles but a lot of men got envious and were inspired. They’re doing their tummy crunches harder more than ever.

Speaking of men’s waistlines, I find the men’s elastic waist paints at Blair interesting. Premium cotton cargo pants or drawstring cargo pants are the usual choices of those who are more after relaxation and comfort. The usual types of these comfort pants include a drawstring slacks and and side elastic slacks. These both are easy fitting and just “lax” on the waist.
