My son is 2 1/2 years old now. Just a few months to go, he may already be eligible to enter pre-school. Time flies so fast so as early as now, we’ve started saving up for his education and further, I am currently making my research about pre-school education so we can draw up plans of how we’d all go about it. We’re clueless yet as to which type of curriculum we’d pursue but one thing is for sure. We want the most nurturing environment for our son.

Hubby and I went to a traditional pre-school where our foundation was remarkable and the setup worked for us. But these days, more and more have been advocating about how the Home school curriculum proves to be equally effective (in some instances, more advantageous) for many kids and families. Many parents who home school their pre-schoolers attest that this setup is now easier because of vast resources that are made available for them online. In fact, there’s one particular software that can aid a Home Schooling parent teach his child various subjects in a specialized Montessori method. MECS Montessori Educational Software is a leading provider of home school curriculum, Phonics software and other educational tools designed to help children even those with special needs succeed like the Dyslexia software for those with reading disabilities.

There’s actually a myriad of choices but as we still have ample time to research further about the different pre-school approaches, I hope we’ll be able to come up with the right curriculum decision that would work for us and our son.

New teachers, new classmates, new uniforms, new stuffs. The last two were the most that I was excited about and I bet most of the students share the same sentiments with me. Definitely, I was also thrilled about the new learning that would be imparted to me.

Speaking of education, I just stumbled upon a great website that incoming American college students will surely appreciate and find very helpful. The undecided students will most benefit from CollegeDegreesToday.com as they will be able to read a comprehensive guide in there about finding the perfect accredited college or university within their proximity in any of the American states. Browsing the site and the task to research college degrees are easy because the search categories allow one to peruse according to degree level, degree program, online school, campus based school, or vocational program. Do check it out if you are caught in this dilemma.

With the neverending advancement of technology, I could say that the students of today are indeed luckier as they benefit so much from the computer and internet for their school works. During my time (not so long ago), I recall that my classmates and I spent several hours of research from dusty and old book in our library after class hours. The internet wasn’t that widely used yet among students and renting in internet shops was very costly. The first time I ever logged on the web, rental fee was at Php 54 per hour. With this, we were lured to go for means that were inexpensive or as much as possible, free.

In this decade when internet is considered a staple and a regular utility in the house (just like phone, power, water and cable TV), researching for school assignments, projects and term papers are definitely a lot easier and efficient. With just one click, you have an instant project with the help of Google.

For those who are deprived of time (and ideas), there are also writing services that can be availed online. One is able to buy essays that are readily available or request a essay service for a customized topic. These means bundled with research gadgets such as kindles, internet on-the-go tools like iPhones and iPad where one can access the internet any time, researching school works couldn’t indeed be easier.

I couldn’t be any prouder of my High School friends. A number of them are doctors now and enjoying so dearly their chosen field. Taking up Medicine and studying for almost a decade just to be a licensed doctor is truly a big feat. They spent endless sleepless nights, braved nerve-wracking exams and consultant interview questions and browsed thousands of thick medical books. With all honesty, even though I dreamed of becoming a doctor when I was little, I don’t think I can go through the same travail. Just the thought of consultant medical interview gives me the shivers. Suffice to say that I’m not meant to be a doctor but destined to become something else.

Anyway, most of them are now general practitioners and now aligning their specialization plans. Some are undergoing a consultant interview course while some are working on their US Medical Licensing Exam applications. It is one from doctor friend that I first heard about the Oxford Medical, a medical training company that teach doctors various skills for competitive consultant interview. She says that she’ll take a course from this company in order for her to sell her skills, knowledge and attributes in a more impressive manner.

Perhaps, if Math troubled students are given the chance to send their insights, “Math” would have been receiving tons of these “leave me alone” letters as pictured above. Their predicament is understandable because not all people are born Math wizards and sometimes they need tremendous Math help specifically in a Math Tutor form. Others are lucky because they have parents and friends who can be a Math Problem Solver for their assignments and projects and give them tips on a one on one tutorial approach. But for those who do not have, they are still quite blessed because nowadays on the web, they can easily access an Online Math Tutor who can assist them through a specialized software and a live chat interface. It’s pretty much like a face to face tutorial but only these Math Tutors Online teach them through the cyber world. There are Free Online Tutoring sessions that can be availed from Tutornext.com, a Math tutorial services online providers for K-12 and college students. Take a look at their website and have a walk through on their Online Tutor system.

This thai massage video I just watched awakened my yearning to have a massage. It’s been ages since I had one and I am longing that pampering and relaxing feeling as the therapist works on the body muscles. I think what I had was just an ordinary massage..slightly different from a Thai Massage. According to this thai massage training resource, this type of massage is more energizing than more classic forms of massage because it involves more rigorous stretching and deep massage. It is usually performed on the floor, no oil is used so the client can just wear any comfortable clothing that allow for movement. If you are curious on how it is correctly done or should you want to learn it yourself, get familiarized with the muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure techniques presented in Videoshelf.com, the reliable resource of aesthetic educational videos for spa and beauty professionals. They also have videos on hairstyling and cutting, face painting, make up, body treatments and a lot more. So if you are thinking of putting up your own salon or spa, these videos are a must-collections.

I’d really like to try a thai massage but I’ll do that once I secure a clearance from the doctor since I have a dextroscoliosis.

In three months time, my youngest sibling will graduate from college. They just went back to the university yesterday after taking advantage of the holiday break. He made sure that he’s rested and relaxed very well over the break because he’s certain that the coming and remaining months will be their busiest. I can recall that during my last semester also in college, I barely had a number of good hours of sleep. Tons of book reports, two feasibility studies, and two theses…those were the most taxing tasks we had to endure then all at one time. Plus, we also have assignments on the side like online essays about education, business and marketing. What’s make it more tricky on our part is that internet connection in our time wasn’t widely available as now. The library was a must-hang out place then where we do our own research.

So students of today are really lucky now. Online, they can turn to essay editing service providers like custom-essay.org that offers easy to follow essay writing tips and they can also provide in a breeze custom essays and term papers samples of which students can make as their guide in writing their own research papers. These should have existed during my college time so that life then could have been a lot easier.

I just got offline from a YM chat with a childhood nurse friend who’s now based in South California. We’ve talked about her civil wedding that took place a couple of months ago and her would-be church wedding here in the Philippines next year. It really is great to hear that she’s doing well not only as a wife but in her career as well. As much as possible, they would like to defer their baby plans because of the impending church wedding and also, she’ll be enrolling soon in an online university for her master’s degree program in nursing. I quite didn’t get the name of where she’ll pursue her studies but I think she mentioned Western Governors University. She says, this school is popular for the high quality online education they provide through their comprehensive course offerings like the online nursing degree. Their healthcare degree programs are now accredited by the Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). My friend deems enrolling in an online university perfect especially that she can’t give up her hospital work and doing it online provides much ease, comfort and flexibility.

I wish her all the luck and success. But I hope they don’t defer their baby plans for too long because she’s not getting any younger. It’s a wonderful experiences and well, yes, I’m excited to share mommy notes with her.

I wasn’t a straight A student all throughout my school and college years. I was a little above the average but wasn’t consistent enough to land in the quarterly or semestral honor lists. And simply, it’s because of the Math subjects which were my waterloo. I even considered looking for an Online math tutoring site but unfortunately, there wasn’t any during my time. Students of today are really lucky that they can seek Free online math help from TutorVista. Whether it be algebra, calculus, precalculus, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, linear programming, or discrete mathematics, an Online math tutor is just a click away and can readily assist a student in solving a Math problem for a homework or a test review. This is also a very cost effective way of seeking Math help since a student doesn’t have to travel just to have a one-on-one interactive tutorial. The tutors interact with their students using a VoIP facility plus an interactive whiteboard to work problems, simulations, assessments and other tasks. So get help for your Grades 3-12 kids by turning to TutorVista for Math help.
