Appalling Gifts

Have you ever experienced being gifted with an offensive thing or let’s say not really offensive but a stuff that you just don’t totally dig?  Well, I did.  There was one time I received a pack of cigars from a colleague for Christmas and I was really speechless the moment I unwrapped it.  I’m not a smoker and I was even pregnant that time.  I appreciate the thought but the fact that he didn’t think if it’s something appropriate or something that would be of use by the recipient is somehow appalling.
