Everyone’s thrilled with the extraordinary cool weather that we enjoy here in Manila right now. I bet many are praying for a even a lower temperature so the fashionistas can bring out from their closets winter wardrobes or those fashion pieces meant for low temperatures like sweaters, boots, scarves and shawls, bonnets, etc. According to the weather news bureau last night, we can expect to a lower temperature than the 18.5 degrees that Quezon City experienced last January 5. Is that a great news and exciting thing to look forward to? For the fashion addicts, I bet, it is.
But for the farmers up there in Baguio, I’m sure they’re praying otherwise. Well and good if they have farmers insurance review and insurance to protect them in cases of hales and frost just like what struck them earlier this month. But unfortunately, there’s none to protect their vegetable and fruit plantations.
