Just a few days ago, I was helping my friend John move to his new apartment across town. We were great friends in school, but our recent busy schedules have prevented us from getting together lately. Throughout the move, we had plenty of time to catch up. Most of the heavy lifting, like the wrap around couch and the La-Z-Boy recliner, was done though. Prior to the move, John had researched different moving companies to find a great deal. He finally decided on Atlas Van Lines, a company that networks moving agencies around the world. Atlas offers a wide variety of moving options for home, corporate, and government relocation. As we moved him into the new place, he told me about the whole process in general.
Before movers from an Atlas partner company came to get the big items, John was able to get a portable storage container through Atlas. With the help of some other friends, he was able to box his belongings and dismantle furniture so that it would be easier to transport. Instead of having to make multiple trips using a rental truck or trying to stuff things into the friends’ small 2-seater coupes, they were able to simply move it outside and into the storage container. Once the Atlas movers arrived, it was an easy job to finish loading the heavy items into the container, which was then put onto a flatbed truck and dropped off at John’s new apartment. From there, it was as simple as opening the container door and unloading it. One trip was all that was needed; no trying to fuss around with multiple trips through traffic or struggling to look in rear-view mirrors around the table in the backseat. Atlas simply made moving into an easy task at a very reasonable price.
