Ever since, the husband has always been a sports enthusiast. Whenever we talk about sports, he always narrates the sports he played when he was a kid up to his teenage years. Even during our High School years, I recall that he’d always join the basketball and volleyball teams of our class. He also played chess with our classmates during our breaks. Up to now that we’re already grownups and parents, he’s still trying to get involved with sports like joining various basketball leagues and tournaments sponsored by their company. Now that we have a son, he always say that he wants him to grow up loving sports the way as he does. That’s why as early as now, he makes it a point to teach him once in a while the basic strokes of certain sports like basketball and baseball. Whenever the little one is interested, he also buys him kiddie sports toys like mini-basketball hoops and balls or kiddie baseball bats. There was also a time when he bought him several autographed sports memorabilia t-shirts. He has also mentioned how he’s been wanting to travel abroad some day to watch live NBA and MLB games and hopefully score autographed baseballs or autographed photos for him. He’s truly training our little kid to be a sports lover, huh?
