Talk..But Also Listen.
The other day I received a call from a loan servicing agent and she was offering, actually, more of convincing me to get a fast cash payday loan from them. She’s a great telemarketer, she talks well and her sales skill is truly remarkable but I just hope that she could also learn how to listen and not just yak and yak. I was trying to tell her that I’m unsure if I’m the right person, although I have immediate financial needs at the moment, but I don’t think I am qualified with the payday loan service they’re offering. For one, being a freelance online writer, I don’t have financial documents to show and meet the requirements and two, the amount I need is way beyond what a payday loan can offer. As I’ve mentioned, we just newly bought a house and we need some hefty amount of moolah to buy new furniture, appliances and all other stuffs, total amount of which will be way beyond the maximum offering of a payday loan. Since she refused to get interrupted, I just let her talked even though I’m interested on something else. Now talk about wasted efforts and time.
