I have not worn all my life a prescription or any reading type of glasses. I have been blessed with a pretty good eyesight, that’s why. But with the tremendous strain my eyes are getting lately being in front and working with my laptop for more than 10 hours a day, I know that any moment my eyes will take its toll on me. Besides, our eyes deteriorate as we age and also, it’s in the genes. My folks and two of my siblings are wearing spectacles (sometimes, soft contact lens) so it’s possible that I’ll be wearing my own pair soon. But thanks to technology, eyeglasses are just an option these days. There are multifocal contact soft lens that can be worn nowadays. There are even the disposable soft lenses ones for those who are always on the go and do not have the luxury of time to clean their lenses. While I’m prepared for that, I hope it won’t be too soon. Nothing beats the comfort and ease of having an unproblematic eyes.
