When it’s TV time for my son, he only knows two shows. He doesn’t want any other programs other than the Animal Planet and his Barney DVD. He would go ballistic if he sees otherwise and wouldn’t stop whining until he gets what he wants. We’re lucky to have a cable TV that has Animal Planet channel. That’s our problem actually whenever we’re in his grannies’ house in Makati because for an unknown reason, their cable TV doesn’t include the Animal Planet channel.
Just like my son, I also wish that more channels are available across all our local Cable TV providers. I wonder when will a Satellite TV Provider will emerge and pioneer the TV channel service industry. I’ve always heard from my US-based friends how thankful they are for having DIRECTV. They’re most happy about getting more at a less price. Meaning, for just a reasonable and affordable basic package, for example, they have at least 150+ channels (except for the Family package which has 50). They even get cool deals once in a while so they’re really getting most out of their remarkable service. I bet, my son will finally expand his channel choices when we get to have as much channels as DIRECTV Service provides.
