Tunic Blouses

Tunic blouses are what mostly consist my closet now. Last Christmas, I was given the go signal to shop for some wardrobe additions and the husband was not surprised that I bought 3 tunic blouses of different styles and colors in the Christmas Bazaar.

Tunics have been pretty much popular in the fashion world over the last couple of years. A tunic is any type of clothing with various lengths reaching from the shoulders to somewhere between the hips and the ankles. They usually have a casual cut, sometimes have wide and comfortable sleeves. This is Greek in origin and these garments were also worn by Roman soldiers in ancient times. In our generation now, these are more commonly worn by women in a variety of cuts and looks. However, some tunics are also designed for men and even for kids.

But since tunic blouses are my favorite fashion piece now, here are some of the most stylish ones I’ve seen over the web. What I like about these blouses is that they can be partnered with leggings or tights, skinny jeans and depending on the look of the blouse, it can also be partnered with shorts. Drape neck tunics are perfect for layering.
