MIL’s Stockings.
No, I’m not talking about Christmas stockings or the regular ones that we often see worn by office girls.
Knowing that I online shop and has a cheaper means to ship US shopping loots from the US to here through the kindness of a good friend, my dear MIL sought my help last year to buy her a certain special “therapeutic” type of stockings for the swelling veins in her legs. I can not recall if the doctor exactly described them as varicose veins but they surely need a sort of support to prevent it from further swelling. Unfortunately, I didn’t know of an online shop where to acquire these. It’s a good thing that I stumbled upon RecoveryElements.com’s site just now because that’s where I found what she has been looking for. It’s called the Jobst stockings and commonly known as compression stockings. They’re known as such because they give a gentle squeeze at the ankle and up the legs to provide relief from tired, aching legs and varicose veins.
Probably I can order a pair for MIL and will serve as an additional Christmas gift from us next month.
