Our Weekend.

How was your weekend everyone? Mine was divine. It was well spent with my boys although I worked still a little towards midnight but I made sure that both of them were soundly asleep already. For several weeks, we refrained from going out on weekends especially if we don’t have important errands to do. It’s also a part of our saving measures because we figured, the more we go out, the more we are bound to spend on impulse. So just to avoid the temptations, we just confined ourselves for most of the recent weekends except when we do our grocery shopping in a nearby supermarket. Little sacrifices all for the Little Mansion project. Besides, Christmas is just around the corner and albeit is the most fun and exciting holidays of the year, it also equates to e.x.p.e.n.s.e.s. Read as vacation and travel expenses, exchange gifts, parties, etc. Speaking of exchange gifts, that’s also one of the things that I’m saving up big these days. The husband has been so working hard these past few months that I want to reward him with a gift that is on top of his wish list. I’m very thankful that I’ve been so blessed with much earnings online that I have saved enough for it.

So anyway, back to my weekend recount. The husband treated us to a gratifying and heavenly lunch at Tokyo Cafe where I devoured 2 huge steak patties and culminated with an oversized cookies and creme crepe. Fats overload! Well, it’s just great to break free once in a while.

We strolled around the mall for about four hours…checked out the baby’s section, traveling luggage section, an appliance store, the hypermarket and even spent some time in an expo where account executives of housing developers abound handing out flyers and busily marketing their properties. We took some time to check on the newest properties being developed but we retreated after since we don’t have plans anyway of acquiring a condominium unit. Besides, we have set our eyes already on one property and we’re about to start fiddling the nitty gritty details of the Mortgage Loans processing.

Our Saturday was a bit tiring but it was overly fun since my little tot enjoyed our malling adventure. Of course, the husband and I enjoyed our bonding time as a family, too.

So how did you spend your weekend?
