0% Interest Credit Card Scheme
Yesterday’s afternoon discussion among my Twitter group was interesting. Everyone was so engaging as we discussed about credit cards. Actually the discussion started when one raved about the BPI Madness Sale taking place in Glorietta where gadgets and appliances are up to a 0% interest installment scheme. She shared that the sponsoring credit card company is really offering irresistible options like lower monthly payments, longer terms and increased credit limits.
Such deals are really tempting but as responsible credit card owners, we must evaluate very carefully the need to fall prey into such promotions. They may be offered at 0% interest or at longer terms, but we must carefully evaluate and determine if our financial power can afford it. The least we want to incur is a negative credit and undergoing credit repair services. Eventhough we may rely on credit repair companies to aid us on working and getting our credit back to a good standing, being a wise credit card user from the start is the easier way to go. However, there are instances and factors that burrow us deep into debt, no matter how hard we strive to have a good standing. Like steep interest rates and penalty fees. It’s a good thing that there are still credit repair ways and tools.
Speaking of credit cards, I am reminded to check the bonus points I’ve already earned from my purchases. I’ve received a text message from my credit card company advising me about a promotion they’re having for their Mabuhay Miles Program.
