Wishing For My Own Territory.

I really look forward to the day when we finally move to a place that we can call our own.

Don’t get me wrong, I love everyone supporting us right now but it really is different if you can be the sole Queen and take control of the household.  Your own territory where you can not just keep mum but you can freely say what’s on your mind without feeling any sense of inferiority. Your own place where you can freely move without being conscious what the others might think about your action.  You own niche where you can set your own rules.  Your own home where your kid wouldn’t be confused of the parenting style being imposed. Your own kingdom where your preference will prevail.

:sigh:

On another note, if there’s one thing that we should be happy about with this setup, our savings are shooting up faster than we thought.  This means, the faster that we can save much, the faster we can reach the realization of our dream home.

We will no longer push through with our plan to rent an apartment.  Instead, we’ll remain here and just save the rental fee and use it for M Project’s DP.

So tama si asawa.  Tiis is the magic word really…and the skill of artful keber and deadma.

Hello Mai! I agree and can totally relate to this post. Our dreamhouse didn’t come quickly. My husband and I stayed with my parents when I got pregnant with our first born. We used to stay in a condo in Makati. My 1st born, Margaux is now 4.5years old so ibig sabihin, ganun kami katagal nag-ipon, nag-tiis, nakisama and nakitira! Even parents ko yun, I can’t have my own rules so when we finally moved, it was really a big thing for me. Tama yan, tiis muna para makaipon ng husto then if enough savings na, you can afford what you really like. As i said it was like 7 years in the making before we finally have our own. We have been married kasi for more than 2 years before we were blessed with a child. Kaya kasama lahat ng years na yun, 7 years!!!! Worth the wait, I tell you! Good luck to you and your family!
