I’ve been bookmarking home interior designing websites and have collected tons of bedroom and living room ideas for our impending M project and I noticed that most of them have carpets and big rugs. I haven’t actually talked about this yet with the husband but personally I have second thoughts whether or nor to have one. My son has contracted bronchial asthma when he was 8 months old and that made him easily susceptible to colds and cough ever since. Among his doctors reminders are frequent carpet cleaning, curtains replacement and make the house dust, animal danders and pollen free as much as possible. There are several allergens in the household that can trigger colds and having a carpet can easily shelter these allergens.

Photo grabbed from here.
On the other hand, carpets add elegance and comfy feeling to any house. I grew up and have actually gotten used to having carpet in almost all rooms in my parents’ abode. I don’t know but my feet just love the texture when stepping on them. I’m also thinking, we can probably have one but a religious carpet cleaning san diego must be done. Further, to address the allergen issue, we might as well just purchase a dehumidier which can purify the air to protect my son.
Hmm…still doubtful but we’ll see.
