March 5, 2005 is the date when I published my very first blog post. Not here though as it was artlessly posted on my first blog entitled Love. Happiness. Us. using Blogger as my platform. As the title suggests, it was put up to house all of my thoughts, random musings, my adventures (and misadventures) as I count the days and prepare for my Wedding Day later that year. This very first blog witnessed how my now-husband and I pulled off a very nice wedding. Just the wedding that we wished we’d have and dreamed of. This blog also paved way for me to meet several online friends who have become In Real Life friends until this very day. Same online-turned-IRL-friends whom I’ve been meeting with almost every month, chatting with everyday at Facebook and Twitter.
Four years and six blogs later, I look back with so much pride and delight to see how I’ve improved from a newbie blogger to now a more (not really and far from perfect) experienced blogger. Being able to set up and author a number of blogs with different niches is actually quite a daunting task but I have learned to embrace it as it has now become my bread and butter. Thanks to a helpful resource like a bluehost review, choosing the best host and domain is nowadays a not intimidating task.
For the friends I’ve met, for chronicling my random thoughts, for the memories that are kept alive, for the money that will be part of M Project’s downpayment…my greatest thanks to blogging. I have so much more to thank for…and for that, here’s for more years of blogging.
