Photohunt: Ripples

A shot I took while aboard the plane on our way back to Manila from Boracay. This is a picture off the coast of Panay Islands where the great and infamous Boracay island is nearly situated. Looking at the ripples below, I’m so amazed how they are formed from afar and swiftly run towards and embrace the sands. I envy the birds…they can fly as high and be amazed by so many ripples out in the ocean around the globe.

I think that close up those would be pretty large waves but it’s true enough that from your vantage point, they seemed like but mere ripples! :b
