Wordpress 2.8 Rocks!

I started blogging four years ago using Blogger.com. What’s not to love about Blogger? Now, it’s powered by Google, it has a user-friendly interface, and most of all, it’s free. However, as I got more into blogging and decided to optimize (and monetize) it, I decided to use Wordpress (full version and not the free one) as the platform for my third blog. I was taken aback to realize how it’s even more powerful than Blogger. The possibilities are almost endless of what you can do.
If you have been frequenting this blog, you might have noticed the theme change for this blog. Yes, this blog is now using the Wordpress platform..thanks to Caryl for helping me out with the hosting, transfer and migration from Blogger this afternoon. Everything went smoothly and I’m now enjoying the latest Wordpress version 4.8. I was telling her that I’m not used to the new dashboard appearance and how everything is neatly placed because my old blog has been stuck with just the 4.5 version. It’s entirely different so it took me some time before I get the hang of tinkering it. I haven’t actually fully mastered it yet but I’m slowly getting used to it. What I love most about the new 4.8 version is that installation of plugins is only one click away as opposed to older version where you download and install them manually. This is the very reason why my other blog was stuck with 4.5 and has never been updated since its initial setup.
